Local court of Kovrov City (Russia) started the proceedings against the journalist and Internet user Dmitriy Tashlykov. The case was brought by the Governor of Vladimir Oblast Nikolay Vinogradov against the user “Myshkin” of a small local forum. He complained that the user irreversibly damaged his reputation by calling him “an animal” and “mature bitch”. It took no time for detectors to id the real person behind the user name since the owner of the forum, Michael Godovitzyn was happy to provide all the necessary information including the log of the user’s personal messages and ip-addresses, reported Gazeta.ru.
